Biography

Ezekia Mwakyami is a seasoned stakeholder engagement and data Specialist with over 12 years of cross-sectoral experience in data management, project monitoring and evaluation, GIS, stakeholder engagement, and digital solution development. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Development Finance and Investment Planning and a Master of Science in Project Planning and Management.

Ezekia has contributed to high-impact projects in mining, agriculture, urban upgrading, transportation, and international development. He managing datasets for RAP- Ngualla Rare Earth Mining Project in Songwe, where he supported data control processes and compliance with industry standards.

Foundation was developed in NGO`s then RAP projects Heifer International as a Cluster Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation Officer, where he supported over 4,800 youth in Mufindi district, focusing on agriculture and livestock data systems. At Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC), he worked as a Livelihood and Data specialist under LOT 6 (Tabora-Kigoma) and LOT 7 (Kigoma-Burundi), managing community livelihood data and program impact tracking.

Ezekia also played a key role in the Msimbazi Upgrading Project as a GIS Expert, developing geospatial data solutions for urban resilience planning. He served as the Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator and Data Controller for the Epanko Graphite Project, working with Property Matrix Limited, where he ensured accurate, stakeholderinformed data processes and reporting.

Most recently, Ezekia worked with the Rice Council of Tanzania as a Program and Business Development Specialist, leading the development of a mobile application for stakeholders across the rice value chain. The initiative, funded by Norad, aims to digitize access to services and markets for farmers, processors, and traders.

Throughout his career, Ezekia has demonstrated expertise in data architecture, GIS mapping, stakeholder mapping, and digital transformation for development. His combination of technical and people-centered approaches enables him to bridge the gap between raw data and practical impact.
