Anitha C. Martine is a Statistician and Certified Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist with over 12 years of experience in data analysis, database management, and digital data systems for research, development, and resettlement programs across Tanzania. She has specialized expertise in managing complex datasets for Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), Livelihood Impact Assessments (LIAs), and Livelihood Restoration Plans (LRPs).
Anitha has notably supported projects such as the Shanta Mine (Chunya and Singida), where she managed and analyzed RAP data, and the Standard Gauge Railway (Lots 3–5 under Yapı Merkezi), where she handled valuation and socio-economic data, contributing significantly to resettlement planning and implementation. She is highly proficient in digital data collection and management platforms such as KoboCollect and ODK. She is also adept in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI for building interactive dashboards, automating analytics, and producing decision-ready insights. Her work involves integrating geospatial and socio-economic data to monitor displacement impacts, track household compensation, and assess restoration outcomes.
Anitha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics and a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy from the University of Dar es Salaam. She combines technical precision with a data- driven and policy-aware approaches. She has supported government institutions, donors, and private sector partners to design and implement data systems that ensure transparency, accountability, and sustainability in both development and resettlement contexts.
